Good News!
Our newspapers, television and email today are so often filled with sad and depressing news. Very often those involved in the news are young people making poor choices.
So it is with great joy we report that there are still many fine young people today making good choices for their lives. Pictured here are Amber and Laurel, two young women who were recently enrolled as Soldiers in The Salvation Army by the National Commander. They are long-time friends who started attending our church within the past couple of years and have the testimony that Christ is their Savior. They sing in our choir ("Songsters") and enthusiatically join in many activities. It's pretty obvious from their smiles that they have the love of God deep inside! With fine young people like these, we can be assured that the future of The Salvation Army will rest in good hands!
And don't they look teriffic in those Salvation Army uniforms?!
