Salvation Army Opportunities, Advancement and Recreation
We have set up a new and exciting program for kids ages 11- 13 (Grades 6 - 8)
This is an "after-school" drop-in program which is open to boys and girls in the age group.
We are excited to be in partnership with the NBA's "Read to Achieve" and "Shoot for the Stars" sponsored by NBA Legends.
It's our goal to provide:-
- A positive and safe environment
- Literacy program
- Use of computers for homework
- Career Day and guest speakers
- Workshops
- Games and activities
- Field trips
- Sports teams
We meet from 2:30PM - 5:30PM (Mon-Fri)
Every other Friday we have a Career Day and our Adventure Corps.
Although there are costs associated with the program there is no charge for kids to participate.
